Sicamous Local News is an independent community hub dedicated to hyper-local satire and sharp political parody. We believe in holding public institutions accountable, celebrating local arts, and laughing at ourselves along the way.
In addition to hyper local satire and political parody we provide dramatizations and commentary of local events as well as comedic interviews with local musicians. If you would like us to attend your event and report about it reach out! We do this for the love of the area.

Our Approach To Visuals
Here at Sicamous Local News, our imagery is creatively calculated. The images you see across our articles and social feeds are a mix of real-world photography, manual and automatic digital edits, and custom-generated illustrations used to bring our satirical commentary to life. We believe in being transparent about our tools, keeping our content fun, and holding our platform to a shared sense of local humility.
We have recently chosen to bring aboard a local artist to assist with our imagery.
